What You Need

Three simple components work together to create a level, consistent tile installation.

  • T-Lock Clips

    Creates consistent spacing while providing the connection point for the levelling wedge.

  • T-Lock Wedges

    Reusable wedges apply even pressure between adjoining tiles during installation.

  • Base Plates

    Helps protect delicate tile surfaces and can also be used as a shim or spacer.

STEP 01 — Prepare the Tile

Spread the adhesive according to the manufacturer’s instructions.Remove the excess mortar from the edges using a trowel.

STEP 02 — Position the Clips

Insert a T-LOCK clip underneath the tile. According to your tile size, set one or more T-LOCK clips per side.

STEP 03 — Set the Adjacent Tile

Install the adjacent tile ensuring proper bondage by firmly pressing in place.

STEP 04 — Insert & Tighten

Insert a Wedge into the clip until you feel resistance

Tighten, to ensure there is no variation in height of adjoining tiles.

STEP 05 — Removal of Clip

After 24hrs strike the sides of the clips with a rubber mallet or safety shoes parallel to the grout line.
